Overcoming Claustrophobia During Cancer Treatment in DVD

Tim was not only dealing with his Proton Therapy, but was taking Chemo therapy at the same time. The side effects of chemotherapy can be devastating to other tissue in the body as is witnessed by the loss of hair and lowering the effectiveness of the immune system.
When taking proton therapy or radiations therapy the side effects that effect the immune system and the mouth are magnified. Such as dry mouth and sores in the mouth and mucous so thick that it is hard to swallow. The radiation of causes damage to the throat and the Thyroid Gland. The throat is raw and swollen to the point that swallowing is difficult or impossible. In most cases a feeding tube is inserted into the stomach for nourishment.
Tim`s second and third sessions were to give him suggestions for comfort and healing. The third session was a follow up by phone.
